bossbob50... why am I inclined to leave a testimonial? I hardly use flickr anymore, having the ability to handle only one social network at a time, I have been consumed by facebook... but every time I check in here, slip a photo in and disappear again, I look in on Bob and am always moved. his work reaches deep. it touches words in my heart, and movement in my mind, takes me outside the box and into a unique and textural world that we all share and don't even notice it. I love walking the streets, alleys, docks, kitchens, anywhere he goes he paints such an image that is wonderful to gaze at. the simplest things become important. The mood of a wall. The sorrow of light. The texture of air. The motion of a glass. The compassion in winter. The happiness in a moment and a moment and a moment. The poetry of one man in one world we all share and don't even notice. But he does. Thanks, Bob, for being my friend! And thank you for continuing your beautiful photography and writing! may the fish be biting!

Heavenly, a word you use frequently, yep, I agree! I really think you are lucky enough to have found your true purpose in the way you express your talent for seeing life ... and We are so lucky to be the recipients of the whole enchilada! Thank you for all you share. I still think you should compile a book using all you have shared here on Flickr. I think it would be fascinating! He has a song to sing. Listen and you will be rewarded.

In a sea of talent, the fish that stands out is either the brightest, most colorful, a leader, or the fish that swims the other way. Perhaps he is all of these. Bob is this fish. :) He is also a very talented photographer with an eye for learning. Without knowing him all too well, I think he has this quality about him that can best be described as humble yet confident. And it is this that can be seen in his photographic creations. His "industrial" images are simply beautiful but he can also make simple tomato seeds glow. His words let you into each image deeper than the view alone...completing the experience. So, climb in your boat, bait your hook and enjoy your view. Thanks for being a flickr friend Bob!

What can I say about this guy beyond what is quickly apparent from a quick browse through his work? He is exceptionally talented and creative. But behind that creativity that could easily be glanced across amongst the sea of images available within the Flickr community, be aware of this.....this is a man who is driven to understand where creativity resides...What stimulates it within him....and how can he continue to sharpen it when it comes to the surface? He is also easily one of the most encouraging and supportive individuals I have ever come across. I don't know that it has always been deserved, but certainly makes one hungry to hear more.
