I used to be a ballerina. And a figure skater, among other things. I wore my tutu and ballet slippers every. Single. Day. Now, when I bring a man home and try to impress him with my family, they scare him away with stories of my wild tutu days. It's sad, really.

I didn't join the world of digital photography until much later than most - about five years ago. I'd used an Olympus SLR (that was a hand-me-down from my Mom) for years until it broke and the tech dude told me that fixing it would cost more than it's worth. Skeptical of digital cameras, I started using a 35mm Point and Shoot until one day, I decided to take the plunge. I bought a Sony Cybershot and hated it every day of it's existence for five years. Sony Crappyshot, I called it. I still have the bloody thing. I never liked shooting in Auto and I just couldn't control the features well enough.

At the beginning of September 2009 I finally bought the Canon XSi, which I had been saving up for, for a VERY long time. It has been a love affair, from day 1.

I still have a lot to learn and love exploring the world of photography. You'll find a lot of pictures of my dogs here, simply because I think they are beautiful and the perfect medium.

And I'm a dog-whore. Wait, that doesn't sound right. What I mean is, I love animals. Except rats, but don't get me started. I am a member of the CAPPDT and am planning to go back to Grooming school p/t in 2010. Mollie, my tri-colour BC and I are stockdogs in-training.

Thanks for adding me as a contact and/or commenting on my picture. I really appreciate it. Please understand that I have a life outside of the internet and often don't have time to comment on every picture of every one of my contacts. Nor do I want you commenting on my photos just for the sake of it! Thanks for commenting on my photos!

See you around,

Suzanne

Suzanne is one of those few contacts of mine on Flickr that I feel a real kinship with. Funny as we have never "met" face to face. Her photos, like her, often express a great sense of humour. But beyond that her eye, intelligence, and an empathy for things around her also shines through. As a contact she sees what one is trying to depict, she has an understanding and again great empathy for another persons view. And lastly she has a gorgious Mollie dog ;)
