First started getting really serious about photography 20 years ago, starting out with a Canon Power Shot SD850 IS; then on to a Canon Power Shot SX260 HS which I still use today. Last 10+ years have been primarily iPhone - currently up to iPhone 13 - really like the phones for the absolute convenience of such things as street art, murals, etc. which have become a recent passion of mine.
Consider myself an amateur even after all those years of taking photos, focusing simply on capturing memories and special events, doing my best but having neither time nor patience striving for perfect shots: My partner and I do a lot of walking, moving around to see as much as we can in certain time frames - this involves doing daily walks for exercise, weekend get-aways, going to special local events like street fairs/festivals and of course, major vacations. This means, I've learned to shoot "as we go" with as much variety of scenes as possible. Have neither the time nor the patience to attempt "the perfect shot" each time, but I do my best. Thanks to all who have shown interest in my photos. So a lot of hit or miss, but also fun and with the best intentions. (I do greatly admire those who will take a long time to capture wonderful, breathtaking images and show my appreciation by favoriting their works).
** I do my best to return some favors to all people who "favorite" a pic of mine, by doing the same to theirs, etc. as well as commenting as often as I can. Thanks to all....
