I am a person who loves to take pictures and look at pictures. Photography first interested me when I was twelve or so years old. I took an entire roll of film of my baby brother (one sitting) with my dad's point and shoot camera. (I was playing photographer of course.) I thought for sure I would be in trouble for "wasting" the roll of film. Needless to say I didn't fess up to doing so. My dad had the roll developed a couple of weeks later and instead of getting in trouble my dad said, "great job Tracie. You have an eye for taking pictures." That was all the encouragement I needed and have been taking pictures for the pure joy of it ever since. However, I didn't get serious until this summer when I earned and purchased my first Canon dslr. It is a creative outlet for me, a hobby I enjoy getting lost in for hours. Inspiration comes from a laugh or a cry from one of my four children, their friends, my sneaky pooch, the right light through a window, a flower from the backyard, an arch of a buliding and last but certainly not least the incredible pictures I have the pleasure of seeing on Flickr. I am constantly wowed when viewing such incredible pictures. They make me want to be and strive to be a better photographer. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the view!
