I'm single, but not alone-----

At first, I didn't like being on my own;

but, now I relish it, you see, I've grown.

Never feel you have to be with or have a mate; remember, there are many blessings in store for those who wait.

Loving oneself is the key to loving others;

my God, my family, my dear sisters and brothers.

Maybe I'd like to marry one day let's keep it real;

but until it happens, my life is ideal. I've more time for my spiritual goals, which is paramount in this time of the end, everyone knows.

Wishing and praying for a change in status is okay; but, I refuse to let it consume my day.Jehovah, is keenly aware of my inner desires and every thought certainly, He's moved by the fine fight I've fought.

I choose not to focus on where I'd like to be;

rather, on how I'm using this time and God given ability.

We can also use this free time to be useful to others;

showing the kind of love we learned from our mothers.

Giving of onese lf is the ultimate fulfillment;

When your energy is gone, smile, you know exactly where it went.

We've all heard that good things come to those who wait;

Jehovah bumps it up a notch and says our reward will be great.

I'm single---but, not alone you see;

My life is full and I've learned to enjoy spending it with me!
