So, Bonnie, I am delayed with this, but know that I have been always admiring your "ways" and your lovely soul. Bonnie Shulman is the undisputed Duck Goddess Of The Universe! Since I became acquainted with Bonnie on Flickr just a few months ago, I have been treated to the most wonderful and precious captures of the ducks in her care (amongst other amazing captures~ check out her gull with fish supper...awesome!), accompanied by funny and moving captions. She is a truly inspirational lady, who tirelessly and passionately devotes herself to the welfare of ducks and wildlife. She has the most amazing affinity with them, which is wonderfully reflected in her photography. She is such a valuable Flickr friend to have, loyal to your photostream and her comments are always so genuinely lovely and encouraging. Bonnie is a Duck Defender in a million and a beautiful and talented lady, and I feel very privileged to be able to consider her one of my very best Flickr friends.

Anyway, if Bonnie wants to do a Reggie Perrin (disappearing and returning with a new identity) in support of ducks the world over, then who am I (or who is Bill Oddie, come to that ((A: He’s a British birdwatcher and TV presenter)) ) to grumble? The aforementioned ducks the world over should applaud this latest addition to the Anatidae family, for here is a bird who will shake her feathers, dabble as necessary and duck and dive like crazy to defend her fellow creatures. And I applaud that.
