Q/ Why do I post pictures on here?

A/ To make a record, for posterity, to enable friends and family to have access to my pictures and to make their own copies AND to hopefully gain constructive criticism, I'd like to be a better photographer than I am and I'm frequently disappointed with my efforts which annoys me no end, I know how to take a picture, I understand the relationship between shutterspeed, aperture, DOF & EV, all of the above when used correctly (or creatively) can make a great picture but the photographer needs to be able to SEE, this is where I want to improve!

I don't have a problem with someone not liking my pictures, I don't have a problem with people hating my pictures, all comments are welcome but if you do hate a particular picture say why you hate it!

My Photography seems to have taken a back seat as of late due to balancing this hobby with other ones but I'm still around even if it's running at maybe one tenth of what it was a couple of years ago, I've been thinking about photography more this past couple of months so who knows it may well start to increase (for which I can only apologise!)
