Most of my photography is of place and family including trail adventures—mostly by motorcycle—in and around Idaho as documented at my blog: blog.trailimage.com.

I like my photography to be true or literal in the sense that if you stood by me while taking the picture the final result from the computer would match what you saw.

Yeah, I'm on facebook.

I teach a photography class through Boise's Community Education program at Timberline High School. Courses don't usually appear on the Community Education site until just a few weeks before they begin.

Jason puts 100% of himself into whatever he does. Because of that, his photography reflects a craft he has perfected. He has a unique ability to capture not just light, but mood, emotion, and deep meaning. He is an artist.

Ian King says:

Jason is an inspiration. He shows a love of family, love of place and love of life with every photo. The photographs are always interesting and executed beautifully. I believe his site is something to which we can all aspire.
