PAOLO AQUINO ON LIFE:
Life is intoxicating. I always see to it that I live it to the fullest.
I like simplicity but I'm excited and challenged by things that are complicated. I like learning new things. I love life very much that I don't want to limit myself and I'd want to push the envelope and see where it will lead me.
PAOLO AQUINO ON GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY:
There are lots of great photographers out there but it is seldom that a picture can move an individual to his or her emotional core.
Those photographs are definitely larger than life... pictures that push the envelopes, pictures that celebrate the very meaning of life - which is to discover, to feel, and to evolve.
PAOLO AQUINO ON PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY:
A photographer friend told me that there's always this beat. There's always this tender moment when the subject submits to the photographer. If a photographer is sensitive enough, he'll be able to freeze that moment in time. I think you just really have to be genuinely interested on your subjects. It pays to be curious. I try my best to be.
