Ich fotografiere seit über 50 Jahren und habe beschlossen, mein Hobby zu intensivieren. 2025 habe ich ein Projekt "Der Dortmunder Westfalenpark im Wandel der Jahre und der Jahreszeiten" begonnen. Da ich im Herbst in Chile war, konnte ich diese Jahreszeit nicht dokumentieren. Außerdem zeigt es sich, dass ich im ersten Durchgang längst nicht alles erfassen konnte. So verlängert sich das Projekt. Um die Veränderungen im Westfalenpark durch den Umbau für die Internationale Gartenschau 2027 zu erfassen, werde ich das Projekt mindestens bis 2027 fortführen. Die Bilder dieses Langzeitfotoprojekts über die Veränderungen von Natur, Kunst und öffentlichem Raum im Dortmunder Westfalenpark werde ich hier nach und nach veröffentlichen.

Ich dokumentiere dabei Pflanzen, Skulpturen, Brunnen, Wasserlandschaften, Veranstaltungen und die Umgebung – mit fotografischem Blick für Wandel, Wiederkehr und Details.

Im Rahmen dieses Projekts werde ich ebenso wie auch in anderen Alben mit Techniken der Fotografie und Bildbearbeitung und auch mit verschiedenen Objektiven experimentieren. Anregungen hierzu bekam ich Anfang Juni 2025 von dem Dortmunder Fotografen Wolfgang Lachermund. Bei einer Ausstellung im Torfhaus des Westfalenparks lernte ich ihn und seine Bilder kennen. Diese Begegnung eröffnete mir Perspektiven, wie ich meine stark abbildende Fotografie weiterentwickeln kann. Hierzu gehört auch das Experimentieren mit "Altglas" (Domiplan 50mm/f2.8, Helios 44-2 58mm/f2, Pentacon 50mm/1.8, Tessar 50mm/f2, Trioplan 50mm/f2.9, ...). Als Ergänzung fotografiere ich auch mit den Triplets von TTArtisan, die ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis anbieten, das zum Experimentieren durchaus ausreicht. Llevo más de 50 años dedicándome a la fotografía y he decidido profundizar en mi afición. En 2025 inicié un proyecto titulado «El Westfalenpark de Dortmund a lo largo de los años y las estaciones». Como estuve en Chile durante el otoño, no pude documentar esa estación. Además, se ha puesto de manifiesto que en la primera fase no pude capturar ni de lejos todo lo que quería. Por eso, el proyecto se prolonga. Para capturar los cambios en el Westfalenpark debidos a las obras de remodelación para la Exposición Internacional de Jardinería de 2027, continuaré con el proyecto al menos hasta 2027. Publicaré aquí poco a poco las imágenes de este proyecto fotográfico a largo plazo sobre los cambios en la naturaleza, el arte y el espacio público en el Westfalenpark de Dortmund.

En él documento plantas, esculturas, fuentes, paisajes acuáticos, eventos y el entorno, con una mirada fotográfica centrada en el cambio, la recurrencia y los detalles.

En el marco de este proyecto, al igual que en otros álbumes, experimentaré con técnicas de fotografía y edición de imágenes, así como con diferentes objetivos. A principios de junio de 2025 recibí sugerencias al respecto del fotógrafo de Dortmund Wolfgang Lachermund. Lo conocí a él y a sus imágenes en una exposición en la Torfhaus del Westfalenpark. Este encuentro me abrió nuevas perspectivas sobre cómo puedo seguir desarrollando mi fotografía de gran fidelidad. Esto incluye también la experimentación con «lentes antiguas» (Domiplan 50 mm/f2,8, Helios 44-2 58 mm/f2, Pentacon 50 mm/1,8, Tessar 50 mm/f2, Trioplan 50 mm/f2,9, ...). Como complemento, también fotografío con los Triplets de TTArtisan, que ofrecen una buena relación calidad-precio, más que suficiente para experimentar. I have been taking photographs for over 50 years and have decided to take my hobby to the next level. In 2025, I launched a project entitled ‘Dortmund’s Westfalenpark through the Years and Seasons’. As I was in Chile during the autumn, I was unable to document that season. Furthermore, it has become clear that I was far from capturing everything during the first phase. Consequently, the project is being extended. To capture the changes in Westfalenpark resulting from the redevelopment for the 2027 International Garden Show, I will continue the project until at least 2027. I will gradually publish the images from this long-term photography project, which documents the changes in nature, art and public space in Dortmund’s Westfalenpark, here.

In doing so, I am documenting plants, sculptures, fountains, water features, events and the surroundings – with a photographic eye for change, recurrence and detail.

As part of this project, just as in other albums, I will be experimenting with photographic and image-editing techniques, as well as with various lenses. I received inspiration for this in early June 2025 from the Dortmund-based photographer Wolfgang Lachermund. I got to know him and his work at an exhibition in the Torfhaus at Westfalenpark. This encounter opened up new perspectives for me on how I can further develop my highly representational photography. This also includes experimenting with ‘vintage glass’ (Domiplan 50mm/f2.8, Helios 44-2 58mm/f2, Pentacon 50mm/1.8, Tessar 50mm/f2, Trioplan 50mm/f2.9, ...). To complement this, I also take photographs with the TTArtisan Triplets, which offer good value for money and are perfectly adequate for experimentation.
