50 years ago I was given my first camera. Although I am a cardboard engineer and an artist first, I have been a hit and miss photographer ever since, taking mostly portfolio and travel pics.
I have been a fan of lomo and pinhole photography for several years now but find film difficult to get processed for these types of cameras.
Recently, I discovered my iPhone camera and have become addicted to using it. Its quality of photography and apps available make it a very close digital equivalent. I use it everyday taking all kinds of photographs, in all qualities of image, and apply many different effects to these images mostly in camera.
As Chase Jarvis, app designer, says, “The best camera is the one you have on you.” And having my iPhone on me at all times allows me to take the pictures I never would have with my DSLR.
