I wasn't always the super mgarockstar children's book illustrator you see standing before you today.Things have changed a lot since I first started out.. We didn't have those fancy computers like the kids do these days. Back then you had to be a REAL. artist. We drew by candle light with sticks and rocks on the back of an old broken shovel and then when we were done we walked thirty miles to the nearest printer where they took that art and put it into REAL books with REAL paper. The kind where you had to kill an actual tree ... and we liked it.
