I live in Anchorage, Alaska, and am a Member of the Alaska State House of Representatives.

Photography captures a moment in time that will never occur again. I've been interested in photography for many years as a hobby in which I indulge whenever possible. Digital photography has offered many opportunities not available before.

I was born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. I'm retired from the US Air Force, a Vietnam veteran, and also retired from teaching. Many years ago I was a cop in Tucson. We moved to Alaska in 1995 - it's the world's best place to live, work, and play (and there's photo potential every way you turn!).
