As a lifelong outdoors woman my motto is, "Outdoors best ... Indoors as needed." (by me). For my photos (or anywhere) I do not use any bait, feeding stations, bird feeders or other food sources; attractions are the plants and prey species that occur naturally. There are also many photos taken on public lands.

I coined the term "Bobcat Weather" in the mid-1990s after observing that sun on moist soil attracts gopher activity which attracts bobcat(s). None of my photos are Photoshopped. Photos here are taken by me or by my motion-sensor cameras; and are described as such. I use this site in part to document the presence of critters not easily seen directly; hence the motion-sensor cameras. Some of my photos are obviously poor quality; I post them if the animal is identifiable, for the purpose of documenting species presence.
