Why Hello!! Thank you for visiting me.

I am a photographer specializing in child portraits, engagements, pet portraiture, & weddings in Wisconsin, USA. In December of 2007 I received a Canon Digital Rebel XT as a Christmas gift. I loved it and it served me well for a couple of years. After fully utilizing my camera and learning the in's and out's of manual operation I began my own business in the summer of 2008, and in 2009 I moved up to a Canon 5D. Pursuing photography as a career has made me look at the world in a whole new light, and I would never trade this experience for anything.

It's so amazing to me how I have missed all these little details all these years. People who have no passion for the arts, and for photography have no idea what they are missing! I find myself in situations without my camera, where a photo just POPS! out of the scenery and I just want to kick myself.

I am constantly amazed at my growth as a photographer. I have improved so drastically since my beginning that I am so incredibly proud. I am completely self taught, other than a photography class when I was a sophomore in High School. Now I enjoy books by Scott Kelby (fabulous author!) John Hedgecoe, and Gregory Georges. I am really excited to see where I am at in 10 years. It's exciting to think about!

A little about me, not pertaining to photography:

I am the eldest of 5 children, and I was the only girl for 18 incredibly long years. I live in USA and for most of my life I have lived in the same area. I sincerely believe that a intense passion and zest for life is important. So is a sense of humor, you have to be able to laugh at yourself!! Give in to temptation every once in a while, and give OF yourself.

I love to meet new people, get a taste of other countries through photography, and delve into others' tastes and perspectives. I am a very happy person, and I try very hard to portray that in my photography. I very rarely do dark images or moody. so when they occasionally show up in my stream they're just a fluke.
