About me:

 

Photography rapidly became a hugely important part of my life in 2005, when I bought my Lumix DMC FZ30. It wasn't long before the increasing affordability of DSLRs and my frustration at the limitations of my compact lead me to buy a Canon EOS 40D. I now spend disproportionately huge amount of my time thinking about photography.

 

Despite becoming a photographer after digital became the norm, I have been keen to teach myself the fundamentals of traditional photography, learning about light and exposure and teaching myself about filters and classic landscape techniques. I absolutely love taking photos and, being a perfectionist, constantly think about what I can try next or do better next time. As a result I take my time processing my images and tend to upload sporadically.

 

I have been published in national newspapers and am currently in the shortlist for UK Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011.
