I am interested in how subject, media, object and context intersect to influence each other. I find film fails interestingly and I like to work at the edges of the media. A lot of my work starts with "I wonder what would happen if.." The process, anticipation, and wondering keep me working. I love waiting for film to develop, or to come back from the lab. I love the unknowns of working with expired materials. I love old cameras with great, horrible, and mediocre lenses.
