Hello Flickr Friends! My name is Kathleen (a.k.a. Blythe Snob) and no, I'm not a snobby person, lol. Quite the opposite in fact! I am, however, completely in love with all things Blythe, hence the "Blythe Snob" reference. I've been playing with and collecting all shapes and sizes of dollies my entire life (darn proud of it too!) and Blythe just happens to be my absolutely favorite. She's so photogenic- all that personality and style! What more could you ask for in a muse? In fact, my Blythe hobby makes me a better artist in my opinion. She inspires me to think outside of the box and try new things.
I am a fine artist who makes a living running my own graphic design studio: k.sky design. I have all sorts of clients and love to create the many different promotional and marketing materials they need. Keeps my job interesting and fun! I also teach fine art in my free time and I enjoy that immensely!
As an artist, I pride myself on being super crafty and I really do love to dabble in all sorts of projects in my free time. Flea markets and garage sales are like Heaven to me!
I love Flickr because it is a great place to connect with other Blythe fans and photographers from around the world. I've met so many wonderful people in my 7+ years of collecting Blythe and that is so special to me. I think we have a great community here filled with spectacular, bright, charming, caring, hilarious and colorful people. That's what ultimately makes this hobby so great!

Kathleen is a very talented graphic designer (see Sisterhood of the Traveling Blythe logo) as well as a talented customizer. Although she is relatively new to the world of customized Blythes, you wouldn't know that when looking at gorgeous Gretel (Blythe perfection)... Kathleen has done her homework; extensive hours on-line researching techniques as well as hours on the phone, picking the brains of people with their hands already dirty in the realms of lip carving and mohair reroots...(we love you)...Kathleen is amazing! As an aside, she is the most down to earth, drop-dead gorgeous, and most sincere friend a person could ask for! I am a fortunate person to be able to call her a true friend!!!
