When I suggested a digital camera as a gift idea several years back, I just thought it would be the logical replacement for my slowly breaking older camera that I rarely used. Little did I know that wrapped inside that Christmas present was a whole new world for me. By the time I got home from a week in Florida that March, I had transformed from the person who hoped she didn't get stuck with the job of taking pictures at birthday parties to the girl who took 3,583 pictures in one week. And I've been hooked ever since.

I don't know much about photography or what makes a "good" picture or any of the technical stuff... all I know is I really enjoy taking pictures, finding inspiration in unlikely places, and that my passion for photography grows a little more with each click of the shutter.
