I've been travelling around for ages, clicking photos on my phone. When I eventually transferred them onto the laptop, quite liked the look of them. So uploaded some artwork, too.

I don't claim to be a technically competent draughtsperson; I use the (mostly) pencil in a scruffy/scribbly way, until I find the essence and energy of what I'm observing - where ever that may be, outside or within.

At the mo, I live mostly in London, but look forward to a country retreat or, better still, a river or seaside one.

My passion is the Thames. Crossing over Blackfriars, by Barnes, or a perilous walk near Woolwich and, of course, Deptford, where I once photographed two angels gliding above the water. (Didn't help me, the phone was nicked).

The river literally takes my breath away - a sort of ancient yearning I have for it.
