A note about my equipment - I am primarily using a Sony A7R3 mirrorless full frame camera, for a long time using only a 25+ year old Canon FD 500mm 4.5L manual focus lens. The lens I most often use now, is the Sony FE 100-400mm G Master autofocus or the Sony 200-600mm autofocus. I enjoy doing manual focus work, but the 500mm lens is heavy, and focusing gets tricky, especially with birds in flight, so I need to take lots of shots to make up for it. I find taking these photos helps me open my eyes and more fully see the beauty that is all around me all of the time.
