Life weaves the most interesting tapestry into and around people. Since I was about 9 years old, photography was squeezed into trips and vacations while I pursued a life long dream of being an archaeologist. Now I have left big cities and Gothic halls behind and can contemplate, meditate and enjoy sunny days with my camera. I am basically a nature photographer, although I most assuredly enjoy seeing architectural and urban photography here on Flickr. I live near a park where the maintenance crew have dubbed me "the Dragon Lady" as I can usually be found sitting by the pond patiently waiting for my Odonata friends.
