Donna Wright is an Australian artist and academic. She has been a practising visual artist for over twenty years and has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her art practice explores encounters with the unfamilair, and in particular, engagement with other cultures. Her continuing research in intercultural communication processes finds its way into her art practice in ways that allow the audience to contemplate the unfamiliar, explore prejudice, and find ways to accept that which at first appears threatening or uncomfortable.
