I remember the first time that I met Chuck Olsen's photo stream. It was a quiet, dark night, and I was stepping out of a little bar called BJ's on Broadway. There was a rumbling over the Mississippi river, and a biker on a jet black hog came cruising over the bridge and up to the bar. On the back of that mean motorcycle was Chuck Olsen's photo stream. It got off the bike and asked me for a cigarette. I said I didn't have any and, you know, that smoking isn't good for you. Chuck Olsen's photostream laughed and said, "Well, neither is going back into this shitty strip club with us for a few more drinks." Right then I knew I was going to be Chuck Olsen's photostream's flickr friend. And since that fateful night, his photo stream and I have become so much more -- I checked the box that marked him as "family".

Chuck loves coco puffs, skating on gravel, laughing at construction workers and making daily phone calls to the St. Clair Broiler and asking what their soup is for the day.
