With his works taking on an 'other-worldly' quality, it is easy to understand why he is a popular personality on Flickr. I have heard that he is pure evil, and one time he made me mad over a cat picture, but with that behind us, I am really begining to enjoy his evil ways!

As the legend of Beebo Wallace continues to grow, sometimes it's hard to look past the fame, the fortune, and found out more about the man himself. Who is he? What drives him? Beebo Wallace was born in a small shack in a small village near a small city in a small state. While his life might have started small, he quickly turned into the proverbial big fish in a small pond, and he soon left behind his humble beginning to to move to the metropolis that is Greenville, North Carolina. Often seen shooting Al Taylor and other race car drivers in somewhere, Pitt County and points further, this modern-day Da Vinci is no one-trick pony. From his vivid race photos to his documentation of eastern North Carolina, from his tasty food photography to his carefully honed portraits, Sir Beebo has certainly earned his photography merit badge. As an universally-known technologist, The Honorable Mr. Wallace is a member of nearly every social-networking website known to man. As a prolific Twitterer, Flickrer, Pandoraer and more, he has become so well-known that in many circles he, like Madonna and Pele before him, is known by a single name: Beebo. As we head into the 2nd second decade of the 3rd millennium, many have asked who are our leaders? What people are important to the nation's progress, the world's progress? While some may hem & haw, and others quickly list a few revered names, all these lists invariably have one name in common: Beebo Wallace. So the next time you need advice on the best deals at Farmer's Markets, or want to find good places to walk your dog in Greenville, or need to find the perfect recipe, you'll only need to contact one person.

Beebo Wallace, the nicest evil overlord ever. See you next Tuesday is the cry from all that talk to him as the urge to meet with him is overwhelming.

Any man with a deep appreciation of late 70's cowbell laden rock must be a fine photographer, nay, a damn fine photographer.

When you shoot photos like Beebo Wallace, it is hard to sit alone on a table at Flickr.

I suppose Beebo is alright.

We are at such a critical juncture of American history that citizens would do well to speak temperately and not spread false, malicious, hateful lies about people with whom they disagree.

He's fathered more children than Genghis Kahn, and with far fresher breath.

An adorable fellow with a penchant for good photography and rural architectural decay. How could a dog person not be sweet?

Before I came over to write this, I looked at the first page of his photostream, so I would've seen at least one of his images before I wrote something about them. And then I saw that long line of yellow port-o-pots and realize how much I really need to poop.

The way to the heart is through the stomach and Beebo has mine just with the photographs of what he cooks. He's the ultimate renaissance dude. I love him, seriously. I know that if he tried my fish taco's I'd have his heart too.

Among his many other excellent qualities, Beebo does the best food porn on Flickr. Seriously: don't view his photostream while you're hungry.

Beebo does not need another testimonial... However, my dog seems to think otherwise. She says "woof." "woof, woof." This, I am quite certain, translates to nothing but kindness and kudos [though it does sound a bit like the same as when she needs to go walkies] Cheers,.. parl

eh? christ! I must be starting to go senile - I thought I'd written a testimonial for beebo wallace *years* ago, but it turns out I hadn't.

Beebo takes incredible photos that are high in constrast and vibrant color, which I absolutely love. I stumbled upon his photostream quite by accident and I've yet to find my way out. If you could send a rescue squad I would greatly appreciate it. I am unable to tear my eyes away from this eye candy!

Mister Beebo, is amazing for more ways than just a photographer. I'm always excited for his photographs because they are typical things people do not photograph and he brings out the best beauty in them. Keep up the good work, my friend. :]

He pretty much sucks because he has been led to falsely believe that pirates are better than ninjas.

Beebo has a keen eye for composition, a terrific sense of whimsy and a seemingly endless supply of fascinating subjects. His photostream is always bursting with playful images that seem to be crafted with precision and care.

Imaginative and focused, Don's photography was some of the first to really pull me in when I joined flickr. Captivated by his "somewhere" series and smitten by his portraits, I always look forward to seeing his work. I'm lucky to call him a friend.

Beebo. The man, the myth, the legend. He is a great person to hang out with and a wonderful photographer. Everything he photographs has a wonderful story behind it...even if he doesn't tell it. I always look forward to seeing his photos and maybe he can rent to Metro from me next time he is in DC.

To fully appreciate the Beebo Wallace experience, one must come to grips with the Rubik's cube that is Beebo. The iron fisted dictator balanced by the serene landscapes that make up rural American life. Like the yin to the yang one never quite knows what Beebo will produce next. Keep us guessing...
