I work for a nonprofit in Newark, NJ, and find the experience deeply rewarding. Though I now call Newark home, my roots stretch back to Brooklyn, NY, where I was born and raised. In 2001, I set out on a journey that took me to Orlando for four years, then to Ventura, California, where I studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography. Like many on Flickr, I am captivated by photography. Even as the field shifts and technology races ahead, making it tough to turn passion into a paycheck, I still hold tight to my love for capturing moments.
