mein Name ist Jürgen und ich komme aus Eichstätt im Naturpark Altmühltal – Bayern/Deutschland.

 

Gibt es das perfekte Foto?

Wohl kaum, denn ich finde, jeder Fotograf und jeder Mensch hat für sich eigene Vorstellungen von der Perfektion eines Bildes.

 

An der Fotografie reizen mich schon immer die vielen unterschiedlichen Blickwinkel und Perspektiven, die man damit festhalten kann, und so ist die Fotografie schon vor mehreren Jahren zu meiner größten Leidenschaft geworden.

Mein Schwerpunkt liegt zwar auf der Natur- und Landschaftsfotografie, doch ich versuche mich ebenfalls in allen anderen Bereichen der Fotokunst.

Angefangen hatte ich mit einer Fuji Kamera auf meinen ersten USA-Reisen 1997. Danach bin ich zu Kameras der Marke Nikon gewechselt und schließlich vor ein paar Jahren zur Marke Sony. Wobei die Kamera für mich nur das Werkzeug ist, um ein Foto zu erstellen. Das Foto selbst entsteht ja bekantlich im Kopf des Fotografen und nicht in der Kamera.

Für die Bildverwaltung und Entwicklung nutze ich schon seit mehreren Jahren ACDSee Ultimate sowie die Nik Collection.

Neuerdings immer öfter Luminar Neo und ON1 Effects. Meine Landschaftsbilder erstelle ich übrigens alle ohne Verlaufsfilter. Filter setze ich nur bei Wasserfällen oder für die Weichzeichnung von Wasseroberflächen ein.

Is there such a thing as the perfect photo?

 

Hardly, because I think every photographer and every person has their own idea of what constitutes perfection in an image.

 

What has always appealed to me about photography is the many different angles and perspectives that can be captured, and so it became my greatest passion several years ago.

While my focus is on nature and landscape photography, I also dabble in all other areas of photography.

 

I started with a Fuji camera on my first trips to the USA in 1997. After that, I switched to Nikon cameras and finally, a few years ago, to Sony. For me, the camera is just the tool for creating a photo. The photo itself is created in the photographer's mind, not in the camera.

 

I have been using ACDSee Ultimate and the Nik Collection for image management and development for several years.

Lately, I've been using Luminar Neo and ON1 Effects more and more often. By the way, I create all my landscape photos without graduated filters. I only use filters for waterfalls or to blur water surfaces.
