I live in Cape Town, South Africa. At present I manage a non-profit organisation called AMAC (Arts and Media Access Centre). We train young people in visual and performing arts, as well as journalism and media skills. My background is in radio journalism, and my previous job was manager of the media programme for Idasa -- a public interest organisation promoting the development of democracy in South Africa as well as several other African countries. I live with Piko, my partner of 7 years, and our spaniel, Bailey.
