After 31 years of doing graphic art work for Hallmark cards bent over the drawing table & doing to much landscaping
in our yard. The old back says "you've had enough"
So, now that I am retired I'm still bent over, been making
pine needle baskets for eleven years. The landscaping is
about the way I want it after the last 15 years. I
get to set on the porch, listen to the birds sing, watch nature
go by and all the simple things in life. Grab my coffee,
get the camera and go see what I can discover! I'd have
to say the price is worth it!
The most exciting moment in my life was accepting
Christ in 1986. I know without a doubt that God has directed
my path through out my life, That He has blessed my life
with so many things I do not deserve. I pray that the talent
He gives me will bring Glory to His name, and show others
the beauty that He gives us all.

"To see a world in a grain of sand and...and eternity in an hour."-- this William Blake poem reminds me of Diana. I know I daily walk right past wonderful photos that I'm too blind to see, but I have no doubt she would see them...heavenly universes in seed cones, eternal dramas being played out on her bird feeder. She is the soft-footed person who walks a trail and surprises a deer, or a bear, and gets a photo as well. In a short time on flickr, the quality and productivity she shows is amazing, and always uplifting. A visit to her site always leaves me feeling good.

Diana is one of those people that one knows is really a friend. If you know the old adage "if you have three friends you are rich." Well, Diana is one of those kinds of people. I worked with Diana at Hallmark cards where we were both artists. I have to say that Diana is one of the most sincere people that I know and she really trys hard always to do the right thing. She has always enjoyed art and also photography. I feel that her sincerity shows in both her personal art work and her photography. She also write beautiful verse and I see that she is adding some of those verses to her photos on her Flickr page. That is a double treat for the viewer. She is spending a lot of time with Flickr and in doing so - people are going to be able to appreciate not only her beautiful photographs and sometime a verse or two but they will also be able to learn about a sincere and beautiful person as they enjoy her work.
