learning to fly - and using, for that purpose:

- a nine year old canon eos 500 n, usually in combination with fijifilms (perfereably iso 800);

consequently, almost all uploaded shots are more or less unclean scans (Epson Perfection 1660 Photo) of express developed 9 x 13s.

Exceptions are, of course, those rare occasions on which i'm trusted with a digital camera, or days on which i fall back on that shabby camera integrated into my nokia 5300 xpressmusic. Also, a dear friend of mine is absent minded enough from time to time to lend me his canon eos 5d ...

Either way, the minor digital work i actually do i accomplish thanks to the minimalist faststone image viewer.

that used to be, i have to admit. if you're following my photostream, you'll have noticed that most shots come with the hint that they were taken with an analogue canon eos 5. (it's all ebay's fault, actually.) i prefer fujifilm, but occasionally resort to snitching up the kodak film material stored in the fridge by my flatmate.

i've also distanced myself from express developed analogue scans.

everything else my shots have to endure is courtesy of gimp.
