I'm a photographer currently combining "normal day job in IT" with photographing for customers.

After joining a short photo course in the spring of 2012 I learned the basics and finally understand how to use the M mode on a camera. In the 2012 - 2015 period I did a photograpghy course that taught me more of the secrets of photography.

Since I seem to get asked more and more photography work, I have decided to slowly move my business efforts toward photography, next to my day job as an independent consultant.

My kit:

Canon EOS 6D

Canon EOS 100D

Sigma 30mm 1.4 EX mk2

Sigma 35mm 1.4 DG HSM Art

Sigma 150-600 5-6.3 OS HSM Contemporary

Canon EF 8-15 4 L USM

Canon EF-S 10-18mm 4.5-5.6 IS STM

Canon EF-S 24mm 2.8 STM (pancake)

Canon EF 24-105mm L 4 IS USM

Canon EF 40mm 2.8 STM (pancake)

Canon EF 50 1.8 STM

Canon EF 70-200mm L 2.8 IS USM

Canon EF 85mm 1.8

Canon EF 35-80mk3 converted to "super macro" lens

Lensbaby Control Freak with Sweet 35 Optic

Canon 1.4x II extender

3x Yongnuo 600EX RT

Yongnuo YN-E3-RT (to trigger the 600EX's)

Amaran LED ringflash

Next to the DSLR kit I have an EOS M and an M3, with a 22mm pancake, EOS EF-to-M adapter and the 18-55 and 18-45 kitlens.

Some of the lenses I bought have already moved on to a new owner. I'll list them here, so I'll remember them in a few year's time ;-)

Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 DC HSM Art (owned July 2013 - December 2014) - one of the most amazing lenses, sadly a crop lens, so I replaced it with a Sigma 35mm Art.

Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 (non VC) - (owned June 2012 - Augustus 2013, now being used by my wife on her 40D or 100D, and occasionally on my own 100D)

Sigma 30mm 1.4 EX HSM mk1 (owned November 2012 - July 2013) - Made obsolete by the Sigma 18-35 f1.8. I really regretted selling the "30", so when I got the chance, I bought a new one, this time an EX mk2 (so without the "matte" finish)

Canon EF 50mm II 1.8 (owned April 2012 - December 2012) - Replaced by Sigma 30mm 1.4. Meanwhile I bought the new 50mm 1.8 STM.

Lensbaby Spark (owned October 2012 - December 2012) - Replaced by Lensbaby Control Freak

Canon EF 28 2.8, the one with "coffee grinder" AF. (owned October 2013 - May 2014) I bought this one as a lightweight "bit wider than the pancake" lens, but never really got around to loving it. Replaced by my (second) Sigma 30mm 1.4.

Samyang 8mm Fisheye. Loved the wide angle fisheye look, sadly it's not full frame compatible. I sold it after I bought the Canon 8-15 Fisheye.

Canon 135 L f2 - I searched really long for one second hand, finally got it, but I never managed to shoot anything 'amazing' with it. Just never felt comfortable with it.

EOS 7D - I bought my first DSLR in 2012, a 7D. Shot 35.000 clicks with with until I bought my EOS 6D in 2014. Initially I kept the 7D for the times when the faster AF and extra reach that APS-C deliver would come in handy. But it never did. So I sold it in 2017....

Sometimes my wife'll let me borrow one of her lenses:

Canon EF 100mm 2.8 USM Macro

Canon EF 70-300mm 3.5-5.6 USM IS (sold in the meanwhile)

Canon EF-S 17-85mm 4-5.6 USM IS (sold in the meanwhile)
