We are the Vintage Blankets Museum, located in Germany close to the River Rhine in the Cologne/Bonn area.

Our passion is to collect old colorful vintage blankets from the '50s / '60s / 70's.

We would like to present our collected blankets here, mostly manufactured by the old blanket factories in the Netherlands, Germany and U.K. (e.g. Tetem, Didas, Aabe...).

To answer a very often asked question: We have NO commercial interests and so we do NOT sell or lend our blankets. But we provide more detailed photos to the many people who are knitting and crocheting their own blankets to keep th beautiful patterns alive. Feel free to ask :)

We are still looking for these 50s/70s blankets. There are so many different patterns and colours....If you have one and would like to give it away: Please contact us. We would love to add your blanket to our collection and present it here, too :)
