I am constantly asked to add some information to my profile. I always feel a little awkward talking about myself, but I will try. I currently reside in Washington, DC area, although I did not grow-up here. My daytime profession isn't creative in the least, so I love photography as a creative outlet. I enjoy Flickr for meeting talented photographers, and learning more about the art of composing aesthetically-pleasing photos.

The most asked question is what is the meaning of my icon. My icon is from a photo I took of a lunar eclipse in progress. The significance of using it as my icon is that it's a mystical event. In that photo you can see evidence of the moon, the sun, and the Earth--converging in a single image. The sun and moon, heaven and Earth, day and night. I'm a bit like that too, so that's why I chose this image as my icon.
