I graduated as an architect (urban planning) in 1978 and have frequently been photographing as part of my work. Today I'm a hobby photographer.

I've been shooting Pentax cameras on a daily basis for almost 40 years. But today I use SONY and Panasonic Lumix cameras, which offers high standard autofocus and framerate.

I've been a planner/urban designer for 37 years and have spent many hours making photographs for my employers and others in the business.

Today I am a retired architect and mainly photograph for my own pleasure.

I always enjoyed using Pentax equipment, mainly because of the high quality hardware and the pleasant user interface.

And Pentax cameras are more about image quality and working convenience, rather than lots of ”bells & whistles”.

I have owned the Pentax K-1 for a few years at the present time.

The Pentax K-1 is true to the Pentax tradition. It looks and feels like a true Pentax.

Everything you used to like, about Pentax cameras, is still there.

If you think the K-1 is an upgraded K-3, think again! This is a whole new ball game.

The K-1 is fast and responsive. Changing settings is easy, logic and fast. I use Sony mirrorless cameras for video recordings.
