May 2018 is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month. There are events taking place all over Europe and elsewhere in the world. It is an opportunity to increase understanding of this cruel disease.

Someone is diagnosed with bladder cancer every 72 seconds. It is the 5th biggest cancer - but people do not know enough about symptoms to avoid late diagnosis. With only 1% of the research funding bladder cancer is badly in need of greater investment to improve treatment and search for a cure.
