SDSU Research: An inventory of Native Bees of The Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming.

The bee fauna is unknown in the Black Hills of South Dakota, This is the first inventory of native bees in the area. This study does not include the introduced Honey bee.

Collecting was done during 2010 and 2011 and to date has accumulated over 250 species of bees in the Black Hills.
