TO MY FANS AND CONTACTS

I'm no longer posting here on a regular basis. The "new and improved" FLICKR is not my cup of tea. Not a fan of the redesign which makes it more difficult for everyone to enjoy the stunning images that one can still find here.

So join me on the other side :-)

Cheers

Melissa has made a moving and educational set of photographs available to flickr users. Visually stunning, the most tell tale, eye opening and atmospheric photographs I have ever seen.

It's nice to have digital images to help save and store physical documentation that would eventually crumple away, and i am glad someone has taken the time to save these treasures of human history in the culture of Black America.

This collection of photographs is remarkable! It's great to see the history of everyday, ordinary people preserved through pictures...this is a part of history that has been sadly neglected for entirely too long!

An amazing collection of images from our past. This is a stream of images worth delving into, particularly if you are interested in Black history or American history in general.
