Black Arrow is an independent studio and press created by Luca Dipierro, Italian writer, filmmaker and illustrator and Rachel Bradley, American visual artist, designer and photographer.

Black Arrow Studio & Press’ mission is to produce cultural objects-- books, documentary films and audio CD’s-- that push established boundaries and cross artistic and political borders, giving opportunities for expression and collaboration to artists and writers with distinct, original voices from around the world. Everything that we produce is intended to explore new territories, turning expectations upside down.

Black Arrow produces documentaries about books, writers, musicians, artists and everyday people. For us, cinema is not just entertainment or art, but an exploration of the visible (and invisible) world around us.
