Since riding trains for leisure (and most leisure activity in general) went by the wayside in 2020, I got into photographing them.

I have but two major rules - that hopefully go a long way to showing that you can get great photos safely and legally...

1. No trespassing!!! All photos are taken from public areas or areas. (And this includes only crossing the railroad at public crossings!)

2. My night photos are taken in ambient light without flash.

Not a rule, but a note - for my aerial photography I am an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot.
