Hi. I'm interested in how things look when photographed.

In the interest of brevity here some useful explanatory quotes:

"...behind the cotton wool is hidden a pattern; that we – I mean all human beings – are connected with this; that the whole world is a work of art; that we are parts of the work of art." - Virginia Woolf

"As long as you’re being a copycat, you will never be the best copycat." – Eric Thomas

That second one might call into question why I post on flickr, I suppose. I've recently been encouraged by the fact that I have been banned, based purely on the content of my photos, from some of the more conservative and boring flickr groups. These are not sexual or violent or humiliating photos. Just different enough to frighten people who only desire the expected. Some new ban seems to happen every couple of months or so.

I'm also the creator/moderator for a number of flickr groups myself:

----- Background -----

After exiting art school with no economically-oriented skills I've somehow had the good luck to find work and great colleagues all over the world: in feature films, theme parks, television series, magazines, games, advertising... awards, world travel, beautiful friends, the whole Visual Culture Universe thang. I currently work for a camera company. For the details of my wastrel past check Google, LinkedIn, or call your local Law Enforcement Agency.

"I do not mistrust reality, of which I know next to nothing, but I am suspicious regarding the image of reality which our senses convey to us, and which is incomplete and limited. Our eyes have developed such as to survive. It is merely coincidence that we can see stars with them, as well." - Gerhard Richter

I like flickr photo sets:
