An average Homo sap....Occupying myself!

Photographer since I was about 12 in the mid 1960's - parents gave me a Polaroid Swinger camera, and from there it was all downhill......went through photo science classes at SFSU, worked with many nonsilver emulsions (eg platinotype) and experimented with such things as hypersensitization and making my own infrared film by adding an indocyanine sensitizer to Plus-X. Later worked with chemiluminescence phenomenon and the like.....sadly my photos burned in the late 1980's so most of my archival material is gone.

Now, between digital cameras, Photoshop, HDR and the like, it's a photographers dream......for those of us that remember the black arts of gelatin emulsions and silver halides, color couplers and other esoteric chemicals it's a brave new world.

Looking forward to pushing the digital envelope in the future.............
