The British Interplanetary Society (BIS) is a membership society that promotes the exploration and use of space for the benefit of humanity, by connecting people to create, educate and inspire, and advance knowledge in all aspects of astronautics.

Our membership brings together those who work within the space sector, those with a personal interest in space, and those who are studying space exploration related subjects.

The BIS’s headquarters are located in Central London, within 5 minutes walk from Vauxhall Underground, Rail and Bus Stations – enabling easy access for visitors to the Society.

We also have branches across the UK and internationally.
