My name is Rick Burtzel, and I live just West of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I'm still a beginner with DSLR photography, but I love it and hope to grow my knowledge and abilities by interacting with many of you talented photographers on Flickr!

 

I also love traveling, my golden retriever Penny, sports, and being on the lake! Most of my photos will revolve around, and hopefully tell stories about, my experiences with these things. I also enjoy getting to know new people, so the back and forth interaction on this site keeps me returning to Flickr daily. I love hearing what people think and getting advice on my shots, so don't hold back!

 

For work, I do branding and marketing for a company that manufactures effervescent products.
