I retired in 2006 and was looking for a hobby to keep me occupied. A good friend and excellent photographer (Bob Lund) talked me into taking up photography. That was the beginning of my retirement passion. I started with bird photography and loved the hunt, bird identification struggles, the outdoors, and of course the sound of the camera click.

I very seldom venture out the door without my camera's. In fact, when my wife and I attend function's, or visit relatives I'm pretty sure they think, here comes the crazy camera guy.

Several years and in excess of 200,000 images later my wife, who has an ETSY shop says, what are you going to do with all of those images? You should open an ETSY shop, she says.
