Student at Western Washington University majoring in biology with an emphasis in ecological, evolutionary, and organismal biology. Lover of all things nature but tend to focus on birds. Other than birds, I like herps (especially snakes and frogs), fish, spiders, mammals, and beautiful views. Particularly interested in neotropical ecology and conservation, tubenoses, and bird vocalizations. Began taking photos at age 12 with small point and shoot cameras and have worked my way up slowly to a Canon 7D Mark II and 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens. I have been using a Canon 100mm f/2.8 IS USM macro lens recently that I really like. Hopefully I'll get that 500mm f/4 someday...
