BIOS Design Collective
Drag to set position!
BIOS Design Collective is a working group of academic and professional designers exploring the application of biological patterns to architecture. We see the built environment as a living organism, dynamic and evolving in symbiosis with our own evolution. Within this conceptual framework, the collective explores ways of producing architecture through parametric modeling and digital fabrication techniques.
BIOS is comprised of Jess Austin, Chris Chalmers, and Charles Lee. We offer a full range of architectural design services including ground-up and remodeling projects, tenant improvement, site planning and environmental analysis. We also offer consulting services in parametric and associative design strategy, and digital fabrication. The BIOS blog is a showcase for our academic research and built work.
