Bingo Rimér (33)
Bingo Rimér is one of Sweden’s most well-known personalities and a trademark himself. He founded Moore Magazine in 2003 that today is Sweden’s second largest men’s magazine.
Bingo was Chief Editor between 2003 and 2005, a role that in combination with being Scandinavia’s most successful photographer made him to one of the largest celebrities in the country. The broad popularity of Bingo and people’s fascination of his lifestyle resulted in a request from Swedish television to produce a TV-series about his life. “Being Bingo” was three months later broadcasted
on national television in seven 60 minutes episodes during September to October 2006.
The TV-series “Being Bingo” was used as a
marketing platform for the launch of Sexy By
Sweden. During the seven episodes Swedish
viewers could follow Bingo in his work to launch
a new fashion brand for young women. In the last episode there was a grand opening event for Sexy By Sweden, the on-line store Sexy.se and the physical boutique in Stockholm.
In addition to television air time , the media
coverage was during this period massive. Bingo was interviewed for radio, news, daily papers, magazines and invited speaker to several events. This resulted in fantastic brand awareness of Sexy By Sweden.
