TBD Photography
Tan Bing Dun is a self-taught photographer based in Singapore who began his photography journey in 2010 and began to actively make images in mid-2012. Due to his commitment to studies, he spent two years from 2010 to 2012 studying landscape and architectural photographs by other photographers.
Bing Dun takes cityscape and architectural photographs during weekends by setting aside time amid his busy schedule. Other than the above-mentioned genres, he is also involved in street photography and likes to take photos of cats.
His specialisation in photography originates in his interest in observing architectures and observing people on the streets. He believes in making realistic-looking photographs to retain memories of the present. He had always been amazed with how much the society and landscape of Singapore changed over the years, as observed through photographs taken in the past. Though his photography, Bing Dun hopes to retain the memories of the present for future generations to understand about the past.
