65 year old "Aging Hipster" from Buffalo (only city to go to four straight Super Bowls).

Went from 1st (and only) SLR, a Nikon N2000, to my first DSLR in November '08, the Nikon D80. Researched cameras for a solid month before selecting the D80 after narrowing the choice down to it, or the D60. Circuit City had both cameras on display (with a few others) and after examining them closely "live" the D80 was a comfortable, intuitive choice. It had a better feel about it, and it appeared to be more 'together', and the D80 had an LCD screen--even a novice could tell it would be a superior camera to ALL the others that CC carry. The little I knew of the D90 reinforced my decision--to me the D90 is so advanced it goes beyond being a camera...

No regrets; the D80 honestly makes me feel 10 years younger; no exaggeration.
