My portfolio is at billpusztai.com ... or just page around here.

Some images here are not-safe-for-work (nudity, partial nudity, sexual themes, etc). I believe that porn is art that's mainly about sex, and it can be good or bad but it's not inherently evil. You have to give it some thought. That being said - I try my utmost to apply the right filters (safe, moderate, restricted) to my photos, because I believe people should have the option of choosing what they look at, and here, on flickr, that is the mechanism in place for people to make their own choices. If you want to see all my images then sign up for a flickr account, it's free and you can do it anonymously. On the other hand, if you are seeing something you didn't want to see, turn on the filters built into flickr. Change your filtering level here.

"Tasteful nudes". Ahhh, "tasteful". That delightful adjective that tells us that a person's genitalia are presented like a boutonnière at a Victorian wedding, unobjectionable to even the vicar in his celibate purity. What was merely a bunch of reproductive organs has become "tasteful". To be perfectly honest I don't do "tasteful". I probably photographed the vicar dressed in a puppy hood being shagged by the groundskeeper, so I find it difficult to take his finger wagging seriously.

He / him / his.

I was born in 1965 in Hamilton, Ontario and presently live and work in Vancouver, BC. Before the European conquest, Hamilton was home to Attawandaron (Neutral) groups, and during the conquest to the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations). Vancouver is on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Like all such acknowledgements, these gloss over a great deal of history in order to "tidy up" the narrative for Eurocentric histories. I try to acknowledge first nations groups when I'm able but I'm no expert so - do your own research, and don't take my opinions for fact.

Mr Crankpants says: Everything of mine is copyright. I use the DMCA copyright violation page on here when I find people using my work as their own. I generally won't accept invitations to post to private groups where I can't see the contents. If your "comment" is actually a huge honking advert for your group, I'm going to delete it. Unless you want to pay me for the advertising use of my images of course.

Your botanicals are superb and awesome. Some of the best I have viewed. I appreciate the use of regular, not perfect Adonis models for your studies of people. It is refreshing and beautiful.

A really cool photographer. I love his photos as always... And I'm glad that I have finally met him in person. Guess what, I hit on him when I was wandering around in the local Art Gallery. Such a small world! :)

Our times are hard, speaking from the skill. We are lucky to see many photographers who every day share his work, nevertheless few of them have the talent to return to the roots of the portraits. Bill is one of them.
